The day starts with a visit to the legendary Sigiriya Rock Fortress, an ancient royal palace built high above the jungle. Walking through the gardens and climbing to the summit feels like stepping into history.

Later, you visit Pidurangala Rock, the most famous viewpoint in the area. From the top, you see Sigiriya rising from the jungle — one of the most iconic views in Sri Lanka.

Today you travel to Anuradhapura, one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world and the first capital of ancient Sri Lanka.

You explore sacred sites such as:

• Ancient stupas

• Sacred Bodhi Tree (Sri Maha Bodhiya)

• Monastic ruins and reservoirs

The atmosphere is peaceful and spiritual, offering a deep connection to Sri Lanka’s ancient Buddhist heritage.

The morning begins at the Dambulla Cave Temple, where centuries-old Buddha statues and wall paintings fill a sacred cave complex.

In the afternoon, adventure takes over with a jeep safari at Minneriya or Kaudulla National Park. As the sun lowers, elephants appear in the open plains — calm, powerful, and unforgettable in their natural environment.

Leaving the Cultural Triangle, you head toward the hills.

On the way, you visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, where elephants gather at the river for bathing and feeding — a memorable and emotional experience.

By evening, you arrive in Kandy, Sri Lanka’s cultural capital, surrounded by hills and centered around a peaceful lake.

After a morning visit to the Temple of the Tooth Relic, you travel into the hill country.

The road winds through lush tea plantations, misty mountains, and scenic waterfalls. You stop at a tea factory to learn about Ceylon tea and enjoy fresh tea tasting.

By evening, you reach Nuwara Eliya, a cool-climate town with colonial charm.

Today features one of Sri Lanka’s most famous experiences — the scenic train ride through the mountains.

Passing tea estates, tunnels, and waterfalls, you arrive in Ella, a relaxed mountain town. You visit:

• Nine Arch Bridge

• Ravana Waterfall

The cool air and mountain views create a peaceful atmosphere.

The day begins with fresh mountain air and optional nature walks.

You then travel to a wildlife national park for a jeep safari — elephants, birds, crocodiles, and sometimes leopards appear depending on nature’s rhythm.

After the safari, the journey continues to the South Coast, where palm trees, sandy beaches, and ocean breeze welcome you.

🌙 Overnight: South Coast (Mirissa / Weligama / Bentota)

Your final day is calm and unhurried.
